Environmental management system (EMS ISO 14000) is the management of an organisation's environmental impacts and programs in a comprehensive, systematic, planned and documented manner.
It includes the organisational structure, planning and resources for developing, implementing and maintaining policy for environmental protection. The term can also refer to software systems for organizational environmental management.
